Where is Jesus?

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.” John 1:5 NLT

On my usual walk

on that usual day

I sought

my Savior

in the usual way

with a glance

not a prayer

towards a

tiny nativity

that brought

O holy night

to

pandemic

paused

days.

Yet

I wasn’t

prepared

for what

I would find

an empty stable

instead

really blew my mind.

It was wild, y’all.

Staring it down

thoughts

scurried

in wander

til I landed

on

three

that

ignited

my ponder.

Where. Is. Jesus?

Ever wonder the same?

Cause

too often

we leap

to conclusions

convinced

He is missing.

Just because

we can’t see Him.

Just because

we can’t feel Him.

Just because.

Just then

Truth grinned

like

the

best

surprise

lighting up

the

remnants

of parched leaves

and

a parched stable

and

a parched soul

like mine.

Perhaps like yours too, beloved.

I closed my eyes

and

opened my heart

as the echo of

Linus words

written by Luke

a long time ago

praising God

reminding me

what

Christmas

is really all about.

“Glory to God in the highest heaven and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” Luke 2:14 NIV

Emmanuel

God with us

no longer in the manager

no longer in the grave

for empty has no place

where Holy resides.

Jesus isn’t missing, friend.

Hallelujah!

He is here.

Like before.

Like beyond.

Like forever.

We are never alone.

Lovely

whatever

your empty

in this season

with a reason

our Savior

sees you

seeks you

loves you so.

Because He loves, we live.

Because He lives, we love.

May His birth

bring hope everlasting.

May His hope

bring heavenly peace.

May His peace

bring joy to the world.

Happy New Year with so much love. XOXO

Spread your joy,

tina
